Internship - Marketing Executive.

Net Affinity is a vibrant Digital Media Agency specialising in the hospitality industry.
 
We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate intern to assist us in expanding our brand presence through a variety of media platforms. You will play an integral role in the launch of various digital communications campaigns. This opportunity is perfect for those interested in marketing and communications careers and gain invaluable web and skills.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

    Launch and manage presences on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant Web 2.0 sites.
    Field customer service or related inquiries to the appropriate departments, ensuring customer follow-up.
    Support and protect brand by ensuring positive messaging is maintained in community.
    Establish consistency of message across multiple networks.
    Monitor and track discussion topics for management team.
    Prepare reports to update internal staff on usage statistics.

Requirements
    Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships online.
    Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    Demonstrated ability to follow through on inquiries or requests, delivering clear and consistent messaging.
    Must have experience in managing active accounts across key social media platforms.
    Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas and information clearly.
    Extreme attention to detail and outstanding organization skills.
    Collaborative team player able to integrate with a diverse team full of opinions and ideas.
    Must have a heart for hospitality and customer service.
    Diligent work ethic and insatiable desire to expand skills and be the best.
 
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Primary degree preferred in marketing/ public relations or related discipline.
Hospitality industry experience preferred.
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong internet and computer skills
- Ability to responsibly work independently and as a great team player
- Ability to utilise creativity to achieve business objectives

This is a part paid internship lasting 6 months.
