Social Entrepreneurs Ireland aims to encourage and support the development of social entrepreneurship in Ireland. Their mission of promoting social entrepreneurship will be realised by fostering the early stage development of a new generation of social entrepreneurs and by actively working in conjunction with the business, third level, public and voluntary sectors to support the development of a new social entrepreneurship movement.
Social Entrepreneurs Ireland believe that in every generation there are social entrepreneurs. We believe that these social entrepreneurs are key agents of change and creators of social value that enrich our society; Irish examples include Mary Davis, Sister Stanislaus Kennedy and Fr. Peter McVerry.
