This year, Net Affinity was proud to work with Team Hope Ireland on their Christmas shoebox appeal. Net Affinity contributed 47 shoeboxes to the effort, with our Christmas elves bustling to fill and wrap those boxes.
Every year, Team Hope collects shoeboxes filled with simple Christmas gifts from companies, organizations and schools all over Ireland. These gifts in turn are sent by Team Hope to needy children from Eastern Europe to Africa, where war, disease, or poverty has touched. These shoeboxes go to families living on less than a euro a day and go some small way towards making the difference for a child’s Christmas.
Team Hope works with a network of international partnerships to make sure that shoeboxes go to the correct hands. We here at Net Affinity had a splendid time collecting all our shoeboxes and gifts, and hope to participate again next year.
