Congratulations to Karen Healy of Hilton Hotels Ireland on her win of Hospitality Manager of the Year - Continuous Professional Development (CPD) at the IHI Founders' Banquet and Hospitality Awards! As a proud sponsor of the CPD award, Net Affinity were pleased to be involved in the Founders' Banquet and to present the award to Karen.
The Irish Hospitality Institute (IHI) is a professional organisation founded in 1966 for managers in the hotel and tourism industry. The three main areas of focus for the Institute are management development, information sourcing and networking. Their annual Founders’ Banquet and Hospitality Management Awards were held Thursday the 26th of November in Dublin, at the DoubleTree by Hilton.
The Continuous Professional Development award is intended to go to a candidate with exceptional ability to manage and fulfil their responsibilities, and a focused competency in the areas of Employee Training and Professional Development.
Karen is an advocate for the importance of Continuous Professional Development, and has significant experience in hotel operations and training. She is also a Brand Ambassador for Hilton Hotels Ireland, regularly championing new initiatives and training new Cluster Training Managers. Karen is innovative, resourceful and experienced, and we were happy to present her with her award.
