As sponsers of the Northern Ireland Hotel Federation's recent Receptionist Award, we recently attended the dinner gala in celebration of the award in Derry. The awards ceremony was hosted by City Hotel Derry, a 4 star hotel in the heart of Derry.
At the awards, Ashleigh Baxter of the Fitzwilliam Belfast took home first place for Hotel Receptionist of the Year. The Best Receptionist Team of the year went to Tara Lodge in Belfast, and Stephanie McCarton of Bishop's Gate Hotel was named Most Promising Receptionist of the Year.
The dinner and awards ceremony made for a great evening, from opening words from Derry Mayor Elisha McCallion to the end of the night.
