We're delighted to announce that our very own Sharon Cowley has been named a Hospitality Hero by the Northern Ireland Hotels Federation!
Sharon was awarded on the 12th of October at a lunch hosted by the NIHF. In relation to the Hospitality Hero awards, Stephen Meldrum, President of NIHF, says: “People are without doubt our greatest asset. The Federation recognises this and that is why staff will be the star of the show at Hospitality Exchange 2021. Over the last eighteen months, the mettle of staff has really been tested. I am immensely proud of the contribution they have made in helping the sector on its road to recovery.”
Our MD, William Cotter, says: "When I nominated Sharon for the award I had to describe her in three words. The words I chose were: powerful, compassionate and intelligent, which I think sum Sharon up very well. Over the last 11 years, Sharon has contributed hugely to the growth of our business. As well as this, Sharon’s contribution to the industry as a whole has been admirable. She has volunteered on the board of IHI for several years, organising and attending events throughout the country, sharing her passion and expertise with the wider hospitality community. I am delighted to congratulate her on this well deserved accomplishment."
